DirectNET on Track to Winter Park

Press Release: DirectNET Visits Winter Park for Teambuilding Skiing

Broomfield, CO – February 11, 2006:  ALL ABOARD! For many it was just another Saturday, spent running errands and cleaning house. But for the employees of DirectNET, it was the 2nd annual Winter Park trip via the ski train.

This winter tradition began last year to celebrate the 10th anniversary of DirectNET and involved a scenic ride from Denver, through the picturesque Front Range, ending at the base of Winter Park Resort. Once at the resort, there was a choice of activities in which to participate. Skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling or simply taking in the beautiful scenery topped the list.

“This has quickly become a highly anticipated yearly event. It is a great way for all of us to get together and kick back away from the busy office life. This is one of many company sponsored events throughout the year that helps to make DirectNET a great place to work,” said Ryan Parle, Accounting Manager.

Other company outings include a summer picnic, a winter holiday celebration and seasonal professional sporting events. As Samantha Martinez, IT Project Coordinator reflects, “I feel the annual Ski Train trip to Winter Park is another example in a long series that demonstrates DirectNET’s commitment to appreciating our team members and living our goal of keeping our company very humanistic. The fact that the event is open and allows people to do the activities that are most comfortable for them makes the event extremely inclusive. This event deepens my desire to perform through hard work and results in my worthiness of such appreciation.”

“Our annual company ski train trip started in 2005 in celebration of our 10-Year Anniversary” said Alan Mamane, CEO of DirectNET. “It has become a wonderful tradition for all our employees, their friends, and their families to spend some quality time together and share in this fun day of winter sports and camaraderie”.
