Broomfield, CO—August 28, 2006:
DirectNET, Inc., a leader
in independent datacenter and
server management solutions, will host its third blood drive
of the year on Thursday, August 31, 2006. The blood drive, held
in cooperation with Bonfils Blood Center, will take place from
8:00 a.m. to 9:40 a.m. and from 11:00 to 1:30 p.m. at
DirectNET’s corporate headquarters office, located at
12202 Airport

DirectNET’s previous blood drives have been very successful.
During DirectNET’s first blood drive, held in February, Bonfils
collected 22 pints of blood, potentially saving up to 66 lives.
During DirectNET’s second blood drive, which was held in May, 36
pints of blood were collected, potentially saving up to 108
lives.
“I feel that the company’s sponsorship of the Bonfils blood
drives has been a fantastic success. The events have been
instrumental in strengthening DirectNET’s connection to the
community and in expanding the company’s awareness of the
critical need to donate blood," said Jon Inaba, DirectNET’s
Director of Sales. "For me, donating blood is a responsibility I
take very seriously. I am alive today because of donated blood I
received as an infant,” Inaba said.
One of DirectNET's core
values is
“Pursuing a Common Good.” In addition to hosting blood drives,
DirectNET has supported several organizations through financial
contributions and volunteer service, including the Big Brothers
Big Sisters of Colorado, the Red Cross Tsunami Relief and
Hurricane Katrina Relief funds, and various community housing
groups, religious organizations, and schools.
