The ideal inside sales “IS” candidate is a highly
ethical, driven professional looking for a career

The IS is skilled at balancing strong organizational
skills, aggressive sales goals and outstanding communication
skills in order to facilitate an exceptional customer
experience from prospecting to support. The IS seeks
to gain industry knowledge and expertise in the
KVM and server management realm, so that they can
move towards a Sales Engineer position within the
company. The IS demonstrates the ability to grasp
technical products quickly and effectively and strives
at perfecting their ability to communicate these
issues to both the SE and the customer. The IS works
exceptionally well both independently and in a team.
The IS is able to build trust and respect by consistently
providing accurate and timely responses to the customer’s
needs. The IS is not motivated solely by money,
but is eager to be rewarded very well for solid
sales and support performance and exceptional teamwork.

• This individual will perform duties to support
the Sales Engineers in prospecting, pre-sales configuration,
post sales follow up and general account administration.
They are driven to sell and promote DirectNET’s
products and services, achieve desired sales levels
and develop strategic alliances.
• Support sales opportunities generated from marketing
activities and develop sales opportunities independently
through leads, cold calls, market research, and
networking in their assigned territory.
• Participate in vendor sponsored training and conferences
to develop industry leading expertise and awareness.
Experience and Skills:
• At least 2 years of proven success in an inside
sales environment. Server management, data center
solutions or network sales experience is a definite
plus.
• A 4-year College degree.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills
and abilities are essential.
